POLAND’S NATIONAL TEAM FOR THE WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN KIELCE PRESENTATION

7. The World Karate Championships in Weight Categories will be held on September 22-29 at the Legions Hall in Kielce. About 170 competitors from 40 countries will compete for the trophies of the highest rank. This group will include the Polish National Team. On September, Friday, 11 am, we will present the team at a press conference. Watch the live broadcast in this article.

The pillar of the 7th World Karate Championships in Weight Categories is the highest-rank competition that will be held on September 24 and 25. The most outstanding karate fighters from 40 countries who qualified as a result of regional eliminations will compete on the mat.

Immediately after the competition, on September 26, the general meeting of the World Karate Organization WKO will be held, and on the days 27-29 the Shinkyokushinkai World Karate Seminar will take place.

The organizational multi-track, technical, logistic, and promotional works are carried out. A spot promoting the event has been prepared.

Marcin Siegieńczuk, the famous music artist, has released a song promoting the event in three language versions!

The 7th World Karate Championships in Weight Categories in Kielce are organized by the World Karate Organization, the European Karate Organization and the Polish Shinkyokushinkai Karate Federation, as well as the Karate Sports Club in Kielce. Honorary patronages were granted by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the Świętokrzyskie Voivode, the Marshal’s Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and the City Hall Kielce.

The National Team of Seniors for the World Karate Championships in Kielce is made up of titled competitors, many of them medalists of the European and world championships. These are:

Monika Zielińska from Warsaw, Agata Winiarska from Wrocław, Marta Lubos from Tarnowskie Góry, Anna Bojda from Wrocław, Anna Bielska from Konstancin-Jeziorna, Monika Podora from Radzionków, Natalia Chrzanowska from Wrocław, Marek Wolny from Tarnowskie Góry, Maciej Mazur from Warsaw (born in Kielce), Marek Odzeniak from Warsaw, Igor Lamot from Wrocław, Daniel Sternik from Konstancin-Jeziorna, Kamil Berkowicz from Wrocław.

The coaches are: Bogdan Lubos (coach-coordinator), Jacek Lamot, Paweł Orysiak (absent at the conference), Mariusz Mazur, Krzysztof Habraszka and Tomasz Krzęciesa (physiotherapist).
