Brand new karate gis, popularly known as kimonos, with the names, Polish flag, and symbols of the 7th World Karate Championships in Weight Categories, were received by members of the national team of Poland during the training camp in Kielce, on September 3, 2022.
From Friday, September 2, thirteen karate fighters are staying at the training camp in Kielce, making up the team for the 7th World Karate Championships in Weight Categories. The competition will be held on September 24 and 25 at the Legions Hall in Kielce. The warriors get to know the facility, train and develop combat tactics.
On Saturday, September 3, the organizers – shihan Remigiusz Karpiński, the president of the Polish Shinkyokushinkai Karate Federation, sensei Tomasz Kęcko, the chairman of the Organizing Committee and the coaches shihan Bogdan Lubos, shihan Jacek Lamot and sensei Paweł Orysiak prepared a surprise for our karate team members. They received brand new karate gis which were decorated with their names and surnames, patches with graphics of the World Karate Championships and the Polish flag. The competitors were very pleased with such a surprise.
